The Bad Place Style

The best description of my design style would be "utilitarian", as I try to bear in mind usability first. As a user of the Internet, I find that I become easily frustrated with sites that use a confusing user interface, or which break the "grammar" of website navigation.

However, utilitarian doesn't need to be ugly and I strive to make each site I design both visually pleasing and stylistically appropriate. One thing I don't lose sight of, is that you're the boss; if you're not happy with any aspect of your site's design, from colours to placement, then it's your call.
